Scope and Contents: This small collection of black and white photographs, 65 in number, was taken or collected by Franklin Dale, an Oberlin student in the Class of 1927. They date from his student days, roughly 1923 to 1927. They are in three formats: 2.5 x 3.5, 2.75 x 4.5, and 2.75 x 5 inches. They fall into four broad subjects: Buildings, Football, People, and Views. The photographs are similar to those found in Oberlin College student photograph albums and scrapbooks from the period.
